Q1 Do i need a ticket?
Yes. Flirt Fest will be a ticketed event.
Full ticket information, including release dates and session details, will be announced soon.
Q2 Will there be different sessions?
We’re planning morning and afternoon sessions, with each session offering the same Flirt Fest experience.
This means you won’t miss out depending on which session you choose.
Q3 Which authors will be there?
Our author line-up is growing!
Confirmed authors will be announced on our Meet the Authors section on our home page.
Keep checking back — there are plenty more reveals to come.
Q4 Who are the vendors?
We’ll have a selection of independent and bookish businesses joining us with products perfect for romance readers.

Q5 Can I pay by card?
We recommend bringing both card and some cash where possible.
Different authors and vendors may use different payment methods, so having both means you’re prepared for maximum book-buying opportunities.
Q6 Is Flirt Fest accessible?
The Carlton Hotel has step-free access and accessible toilets, and we’ll also have seating available throughout the event.
We’re planning Flirt Fest to feel as welcoming and comfortable as possible, so if you have a specific accessibility requirement or anything you’d like to ask us about before attending, please get in touch and we’ll be happy to help.
Q7 Will there be somewhere quiet to take a break?
We know book events can get busy, noisy and a little overwhelming, so Flirt Fest will have a quieter space away from the main event area where you can take a break, sit down and recharge.
No pressure, no questions — just somewhere to escape the chaos for a little while before diving back into the books.
Q8 Is there parking at The Carlton Hotel?
The Carlton Hotel has on-site parking, so you won’t need to worry about hunting for a space before Flirt Fest.
We’ll share any final parking information or arrival guidance with ticket holders closer to the event.
Q9 Can I take photos with the authors?
One of the lovely parts of Flirt Fest is getting the chance to properly meet the authors behind the books you love.
You’ll be welcome to ask for photos at their tables, although we do ask that you’re mindful of queues and always check that the author is happy before taking a photo.
Q10 Is Flirt Fest supporting a charity?
Flirt Fest will be proudly supporting South Ayrshire Women’s Aid, a charity that is already very close to our hearts at Flirtatious Fiction.
A portion of every public ticket sale will be donated to help support the incredible work they do for women and children in our local community.
